Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was an American serial killer and sex offender who killed 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. His murders involved rape, dismemberment, necrophilia and cannibalism.
As an adolescent, he became withdrawn and rode around his neighbourhood searching for dead animals which he would dissect in the woods or his home. He was an alcoholic by the time he graduated high school.
He would pick most of his victims up from gay bars, before taking him them to his infamous apartment Apartment 213, 924 North 25th Street, Mikwaukee, to kill them.
During Dahmer’s time in prison, he was attacked twice. The first time in July 1994, an inmate attempted to slash Dahmer’s throat with a razor blade. The second attack occurred on November 28, 1994 where he was severely beaten with a metal bar along with another inmate who died from the attack. Dahmer died on the way to hospital in the ambulance.
